KDE Dolphin copy/paste problem

Hello there!I'm using arch linux with kdemod4.1 and I love it! Though sometimes when I paste a file at a folder via dolphin, the file is pasted but it won't appear on the screen unless I close the dolphin window and then openn it again and navigate to that folder...That is pretty annoying...Help me please!

Re: KDE Dolphin copy/paste problem

Next time it happens, press F5 (or go to View -> Reload) after pasting the file. That's not a fix per se, but it's easier than reopening Dolphin.

Re: KDE Dolphin copy/paste problem

try not loading fam.  KDE 4 handles information updates itself from what I understand.  I use KDEmod 4 on all my machines and everything shows up fine.

Re: KDE Dolphin copy/paste problem

Do you have Nepomuk enabled?  You don't need strigi enabled, but you do need to have Nepomuk running.  Dolphin doesn't use fam/gamin, btw, it uses inotify.
