I've been waiting for lirc to get some loving and be upgraded to 0.8.4 but I just saw that the package doesn't have a maintainer anylonger...
Does that mean that noone is taking care of the package at all, or do I just sit tight and wait a bit longer for someone to get some free time and do the update?
I've tried updating the pkgbuild my self but... yeah... it didn't work out ![]()
Anyway, my main concern is that the package has been forgotten, but maybe it doesn't work that way?

use ABS ![]()

Well, that's what I did... sort of.
I downloaded the pkgbuild (and the necessary files) and tried to modify it but to no avail. My knowledge when it comes to package building is not very good and "makepkg" is pretty much all I know ![]()
Hopefully someone will adopt the package soon.
