Upgrade kernel, now X won't work

So, I hadn't updated in a few days, and I did. I had to delete a directory for zsh to update, and there was a kernel in there too. Now, whenever I run startx, I can't move my USB mouse (works in LiveCD's), and CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE won't logout, whether I have my .xinitrc to run openbox or awesome. I ran Xorg -configure, and I deleted xorg.conf altogether. Now I have a term, typing in links. Any ideas? I think I will comment out testing, in order to see if a package in testing did it.

Do you have testing enabled?

Yes. I unenabled it and installed the xorg from extra (along with my ati driver and the vesa driver), but the xorg wouldn't install, complaining about something already existing in the filesystem. What is the correct way to regress back to just extra?

pacman -Sf xorg-server
Should force the install.
But there was something about this in another thread (I had the same problem with the new xorg)

Re: Upgrade kernel, now X won't work

Hmm, doesn't seem to work for me. I will try to downgrade it though, then screw with it tomorrow.

EDIT: Turns out I forgot an "s" at the end of "device". It works fine now.
