Pen drive and CDROM not automounted when inserted

I am an Ubuntu user. In Ubuntu cdrom and pen drive is automounted as i insert them into my pc and desktop shortcut for the same is created automatically. How this can be done in Arch ??????

And k3b is not able to detect any dvdwriter. I think it will be solved if automount problem is solved
