Vim plugins PKGBUILDs repos

Hello,

Today I hacked a script to build vim plugins PKGBUILDs. I put then on freehg.org for now. Someone is interested? I can make then easy, so ppl can suggest new plugins and I add it to the hg repo.

The repo is located at http://freehg.org/u/kazuo/arch-vim-plugins/

The folder PROTO have the python scripts I used (yes they are ugly, someone can pythonise then? ^_^). A .ini is something like this:

[Main]
type=vimball
pkgname=vim-align
pkgver=33.39
pkgrel=1
sourceid=8407
pkgdesc=Provides commands and maps to help produce aligned text, eqns, declarations, etc.
url=294
ext=.gz
doc=yes

or

[Main]
type=vimzip
pkgname=vim-crefvim
pkgver=1.0.4
pkgrel=1
sourceid=3666
pkgdesc=A C-reference manual especially designed for Vim.
url=614
ext=.zip
doc=yes
source=crefvim/doc/crefvim.txt:doc/crefvim.txt,crefvim/doc/crefvimdoc.txt:doc/crefvimdoc.txt,crefvim/after/syntax/help.vim:after/syntax/help.vim,crefvim/plugin/crefvim.vim:plugin/crefvim.vim

What you think? Can you suggest new plugins? If you think that this is a good idea I'm thinking on indexing vim-plugins so they can be easily installed and updated with pacman.

Bye!

Re: Vim plugins PKGBUILDs repos

You could probably use url ID to find both the name and description from vim.org if you want to make the configs simpler.
