[SOLVED] JRE conflicts with Eclipse

I would like to have both packages installed in my system. The problem is that when I try to install eclipse I get the following warning: java-gcj-compat conflicts with jre. Remove jre? How can I solve this problem? Thanks.

Re: [SOLVED] JRE conflicts with Eclipse

Eclipse requires "java-environment" and java-gcj-compat is the first package that pacman finds that provides that.  If you want jre to stay installed, then you should install jdk first to provide java-environment then install eclipse.

Re: [SOLVED] JRE conflicts with Eclipse

Thanks from me as well. Though, it would be nice if the package manager could recommend that.
