I already have a window Xp and trying to install the great system Archlinux, but unhappily I get a "invalid partition table" when I power up my computer
so how to get it work now?
by the way: I'm a newbie to Archlinux, just tell me if I'm wrong.

Ok, so after your post/bios is done, your motherboard tries to boot from hard disk, but it can't find a valid partition table/bootloader, right?
In that case something has gone wrong during the partitioning of the disks/installing of the bootloader. Did you see any errors, warnings or weird behaviour during the Arch installation program?
You probably should just do the installation again, make sure you:
- partition/configure mountpoints manually, so you can still use your windows installation.
- install grub on the disk itself, not on a partition (eg /dev/hda or /dev/sda, not hda1 or sda3 or something)
