limewire stopped working

When I try to start limewire it gets to the splash screen, and then it just hangs. I started it from terminal but there is no output at all. Azureus is also acting strange, when I start it from terminal at first there is no output, then after about 10 minutes all of a sudden it shows up.
I thought it must be a java problem so I removed azureus, limewire and jre and the reinstalled them but the problem persist.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: limewire stopped working

You could try the AUR version of limewire instead

http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?O … _Search=Go

and azureus

Re: limewire stopped working

Thanks. I decided to try limewire one more time when I saw your response and somehow it seems to have solved itself, both limewire and azurues are working just fine now. smile
