error trying to run rivendell

Hi!
I am trying to run rinvendell ( http://www.rivendellaudio.org/ )
but now I have this error:

$ /usr/local/bin/rdadmin
/usr/local/bin/rdadmin: error while loading shared libraries: librd-1.1.1.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

any idea? what to do?

I had to compile it, configure, make, make install...

(did the ldconfig as root too)
