f-spot package

F-spot doesn't even start for me. Bug is already saved upstream.
On ubuntu they have therefore updated this package.
Is it possible to get f-spot package updated on arch too?

Re: f-spot package

The latest version on f-spot homepage is the one in our repo. I have started it yesterday with an uptodate system and everything was running fine.
Can you give some more information why it doesn't start? Console output, etc?

Re: f-spot package

It is sort of funny. I tried to install f-spot-svn and digikam-svn from aur and both didn't compile. I installed regular digikam and it didn't work until i found it is installed under /opt which is not in my path. And first time i tried to run it didn't work. I tried to run it second time and magically it works now. roll

Photo management is sort of cursed on my computer.

Re: f-spot package

I had to disable color management with gconf-editor and now f-spot works again.
