Question about yelp & texinfo pages

Does anyone know if there is a fix for yelp's broken viewing of texinfo pages? AFAIK, it's been broken since GNOME moved to rarian for rendering the documents, but I can't find any news about it anywhere. I know I can view stuff using pinfo, but it would be better if yelp actually worked instead of getting a g_slice () assertion or NULL document error.:(
