[SOLVED] Can't install Eclipse - needs java-gcj-compat, etc.

Hello,

I tried to install Eclipse, but it has java-gcj-compat as a dependency, which conflicts with jre, which is needed for other apps (Vuze). I'm _guessing_ that the Vuze package is bad and will work fine with java-gcj-compat, but I'd rather be safe wink

Thanks!

Install jdk.  Pacman is trying to satisfy "java-environment" which is provided by (in the order pacman finds it...) java-gcj-compat, openjdk6 and jdk.  If you want JRE, then you can only use JDK.
