Nvidia 8-series backlight control on Vaio laptop working (solved)

It seems that the cvs version of nvclock now successfully controls backlight on 8-series Vaio laptops. I've downloaded using cvs and compiled, it works fine on my laptop.

<snip> Problem had been getting the fn keys etc to work - all working fine now using acpid.
