[solved]Force screen resolution?

Hi,

i have a T61 with an Nvidia graphics card. It has an 15.4" display, so it has a native 16:10 resolution. Most beamers have 4:3, but i would like to clone the screen while presentations. I can't force a 4:3 resolution for my Laptop with Nvidia xconfiguration - is there any way to do it? I experimented a little with xrandr but it didn't work.

The opensource drivers (nv) solved my problem, i guess its ok to use them for presentations - a "real" solution for the official drivers would be comfortable
