KDE systemsettings causing freeze on x86_64 with nvidia
not sure where to post this, but i have been having a difficult time tracking down this problem.
it only happens when i have effects enabled.
when i try to access system settings it hangs the GUI. i can eventually get over to the command line and "killall systemsettings" and return to the GUI.
i have been runing the 180.08 / 180.06 drivers.
i rolled back to the 177.80 drivers and the problem is different, but similar:
when i have effects enabled and try to access system settings the window shows nothing until i disable effects. then i can see all the icons (appearance, desktop, etc...)
I did NOT have this problem before i recently reformatted my system in favor of the 64 bit version of Arch.
any help in tracing this gremlin would be appreciated!
