[SOLVED] How to get my programme to show up in KDE menu during...

I wrote a small piece of gnu software. I would like it to show up in the KDE menu under "education" when it is installed with make install. How do I specify that in the Makefile? Does anyone know? Thanks.

I think you just need to create a "whatever.desktop" file. Look at the existing ones in /usr/share/applications/ and adapt one to your program.
