The only tiny issue for me with this gui is the language. It messes english with spanish (my kde language), but i believe that problem concerns to avidemux developers.
Can you be more precise about that probalem? Are you saying that instead of displaying in spanish, it displays in english? I am curious because, by default, the locales are being installed in a weird location. I'm using a patch to fix that but I can't really test it as I use the english locales. There might be a problem with the patching.

Yes it rocks, now we need to get rid of gtk deps!
FYI: gtk2 and qt will be optdepends.

First I need to say I'm using kdemod so it may be that the locales path differ I'm not sure.
Most of the gui appears in english. Only a few things like the video, audio configs of the left appear in spanish. It's kind of weird. http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/6083 … sk4.th.png
It looks like an upstream issue. Report that there if it hasn't been done.

Ok I'll do that.
Thank you again, Snowman:)

Any news on an official package for QT? I'm going to try using the PKGBUILD for now.

just install avidemux. It now contains both qt and gtk gui.

I'm using KDE4.2 and I installed avidemux but it is obviously using GTK instead of QT. I don't see anything in the configuration settings. Any ideas?

Just run "avidemux2_gtk" for gtk and "avidemux2_qt4" for qt4 ;-)
