Avoiding kwin load and using instead emerald

Hi,

I have tried the methods in the wiki, but none will do, except the Autostart one which actually loads kwin and after that changes to emerald, hence showing some screen flickering and taking more time for the session to be useable.

I'm using KDEmod3... ideas?

Re: Avoiding kwin load and using instead emerald

I've tried everything also and can't get it to work.

I changed .bashrc to include fusion-icon
It loads but apparently after kwin with same flickering and then a white screen.
