audio manipulation question

hi,

i am wondering if its possible to record and listen to audio simultaneously from streamed internet radio?? I kinda looked into this a while back when i had a go with 'mixxx', but had no luck!

the solution needs to be software based as my soundcard is very basic!

thanks

Re: audio manipulation question

Yea just set the capture volume in Alsa for the PCM channel to anything other than 0. Depends on your card of course it may be called something else.

Re: audio manipulation question

Not very general, but maybe streamripper will suit your needs.
