My LCD monitor's native resolution is 1280x768. Unfortunately, setting uvesafb to 1280x768 produces scanline-type artifacts. Think interlacing and some small corruption. Setting it to 1024x768 works, but it's stretched, and my crappy monitor offsets the screen a large amount (stupid Magnavox HDTV).
I tried experimenting with a few settings, but couldn't fix the issue. I have an NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT. Does anyone know how I might fix the artifacts, or have an alternative framebuffer to recommend that they've had widescreen success with?
Thanks!
