Perfect. Just perfect. So much meaning behind this.

Can Clippy be the new Arch mascot?

We could just have a thin metal wire as a mascot and let each member form it into whatever shape he or she pleases ![]()
Back on topic, would it be too much clutter to enhance pacman's search capabilities to enable users to search for specific commands/libraries/etc? Perhaps it would be enough to add two arrays to the PKGBUILD file, e.g.:
cmds=(cmdA cmdB)
libs=(libA libB)Those could be used in packages which contain commands or libraries that are not immediately obvious from the package name (e.g. ping in iputils, zenmap in nmap). To be honest, I don't really care whether or not this gets implemented myself, but maybe this would be a more Archlike solution to finding obscure commands buried in packages. Obviously, if you need to be told that "tar" is in the package "tar", you're probably using the wrong distro, but there are at least a few cases where the required package is just not that obvious.

No. Has google become that difficult to use these days?
