Kernel patching - iwlwifi

As I noticed that Intel 5100 WiFi doesn't support injection by default, I started looking around in the aircrack forums and luckily came across this.

While I understand there's some patching involved I don't know how and I don't know where.
All I know is that I can't find neither of the mentioned files on my computer (iwl-agn.c, iwl-sta.c, iwl-tx.c) and that I didn't install anything apart from the latest kernel to get my 5100 to work, with 2.6.27 arch chose and installed iwlagn automatically.

Keep in mind that I have no patching experience, but I do know how to follow instructions.

Re: Kernel patching - iwlwifi

From what I can tell in that thread, they're source files for the kernel. You can recompile the kernel using ABS, search the wiki for custom kernel.

Re: Kernel patching - iwlwifi

Yes, the Arch kernel package does not include the kernel source code.
