When trying to install mutt I get this error.

What is the problem here ?

Re: Mutt install problems

just a guess here but..

Total Download Size: 0,00 MB
Total Installed Size: 15,67 MB

that tells me you've installed (or at least downloaded) all of those packages before; the /etc/mime.types file could be leftover from the previous install?

if it were me, i'd try

sudo mv /etc/mime.types /etc/mime.types.backup

then try and install again

if that breaks anything you can just

sudo mv /etc/mime.types.backup /etc/mime.types

to put it back

edit: the above is probably useless; i just googled what this /etc/mime.types file is used for... i think something else is going on with your system; i wouldn't recommend removing it

sorry

Re: Mutt install problems

glad to hear it; upon third-thought... installing the mime-types package (one of the dependencies) should undo any harm from removing /etc/mime.types anyway... so you should be all set!
