Alunn shows read mails again and again

Hello,

I'm using alunn to receive notification for package updates and news about arch. While the new package notification is ok, alunn reminds me again and again of news I alread read some days ago. The alunn news list is increasing from day to day. After reading the news again (with firefox), alunn remains quiet for that day - but comes back with the same news list the next day after reboot (I'm a private workstation user and the pc is running only some hours per day, no 7/24 system).

How can I tell alunn not to show read news again and again?
Alunn is configured for KDE with firefox as news reader.
