Hello. I am a newbie to Arch and I get this message when when trying to start FAM.

Try reading about fam maybe it could help...;)

that line is missing a " at the end (or did you accidentally erase it when blanking out your password?)

I did a new install of arch and the problem disapeared. I don't know the problem but with same setup I have no problems now.
