[SOLVED] GRUB stage 1.5 error 22

Hello,

I had the problem of GRUB reaching stage 1.5 and then error 22-ing on me.

I fixed the problem by re-installing Arch and then, while configuring the system, installing GRUB to sda, instad of to sda5, as I did before.

Installing GRUB to sda means that it gets installed to the Master Boot Record (MBR).

I don't understand why this solved it (perhaps I had somehow two GRUBs installed and the one in sda was incorrectly configured while the sda5 one was ok) but I decided to post this 'solution' here, in case anyone encounters a similar problem.
