Random Crashes on Gran Paradiso (firefox)

Hello, I'm having this weird problem with firefox and I don't know why.  Surfing is ok but there are times it just immediately closes without any warning or whatsoever.  Someone having similar issues?

Thanks in advance

Re: Random Crashes on Gran Paradiso (firefox)

I had an issue like that. It was repeatable... that is, when I would go back to the same page it would happen again exactly the same way. I have managed to fix the problem for myself. When I looked at about:plugins I was using the nspluginwrapper version of flash player 9. (It was a 64 bit problem I was having) and for some reason I also had swfdec installed. I got rid of the swfdec and removed flash player 9 and installed the latest version of flash player 10 for 64 bit arch. If you are not using 64 bit then maybe just updating to the 32 bit version of flash 10 would work.

Now I don't have any random crashes in firefox at all.

Re: Random Crashes on Gran Paradiso (firefox)

At one point I had an issue with flash that caused a similar problem. I don't remember how I got it to go away, but now that I'm using the 64 bit version of flash I haven't had any problems.
