I haven't got one, I didn't know they existed. Though I am poor at the moment I may invest in the future.

you can get them along with some other goodies at http://schwag.archlinux.ca/
The USB keys are on sale for $38.00 for the Christmas season. They're 8GB, so lots of room for a decent OS and user files.

The Zazzle site is linked from the Arch main page but http://schwag.archlinux.ca/ is not. More people would probably buy the stuff if it were as well or there were at least a link from Zazzle to there. Also, though I know these are to support Archlinux, numerous 8GB flash pens sell for under $20 from sites like newegg.

There is a link to the other merchandise section on the zazzle gallery. ??

As far as I can tell, there is no link on Zazzle to where the 8GB usb flash are sold. If there is, it is well hidden enough that most people are not going to find it.

Just bought one. I was going to do it a while ago but I was short on cash. Then I forgot about it until now.
Thanks ![]()

Its been 20 days since i got a verification email stating "order is about to get shipped" but its not here yet.
Also, i wonder why Dusty named the merchandise "schwag" which according to urban dictionary is slang for low quality marijuana ![]()
(or low quality products in general)

Simo kind of got himself too far from the merchandise to be able to send it. It was packaged up yesterday and should be shipped today. I'm sorry for the delays, some people have been waiting upwards of a month.
Please address me directly when you have an issue with the ordering or shipping of Arch Schwag. I don't visit these forums often enough to be able to respond or know when there is a problem.
As I've explained before I followed Judd's example in choosing the word Schwag. I don't know why he'd choose a word for low quality marijuana, since he's from British Columbia, which is said to produce some of the best marijuana in the world.

How does this USB compare to the Corsair GT? I haven't bought one mostly because I can't afford it right now since I am trying to get a car and am making a sacrifice.

I honestly don't know; I haven't seen them. I've always considered USB keys to be relatively equal, they all seem to last long enough to be too small to be useful.
I'm going to guess these aren't top of the line products, but I don't really have much info, and they weren't cheap. Simo posted some specs earlier that may be useful.
