When loading x86-64 I am forced to use fallback.
The grub data indicates as follows for the main install (not fallback): (partial grub shown)
...... kernel /vmlinuz................
. .......[Linux-bz image, setup=0x3000, size=0x:be380].......... (note this line)
........root= ( very long string same as fallback)................
The noted line appears in the error 11 "unrecognized device string" statement.
What is weird is the fact that the noted line does not appear when attempting to edit the grub at this point in the boot sequence such that it cannot be removed!!!
Does it belong?
It is not present in the fallback boot grub data.
