What exactly does that font patch do for urxvt, I saw the patch but not sure what was wrong before.

The right one doesn't have the patch. All characters have the same width.

Openbox, urxvt-256colors-fontfix, thunar, pypanel (patched)

My new setup for my second screen. (the system monitor)

I got tired of htop not displaying nicely with lots of threads, so I'm trying out pstree.

The second monitor actually uses screen -x, so both monitors share the same GNU Screen session.

Was messing around with other WMs last night after realizing 77% of my 8GB SSD is in use. Thought about cutting down on bloated parts of my install, and having ghc around just to run xmonad isn't the best thing. Finally settled down on echinus due to simple configuration and simplicity. I mostly just ported over my configuration from xmonad.

How did you position those apps? Looks a bit like a tiling WM, even though it's Openbox. If it's something in the openboxrc, could you post it? Cheers

Nah, I just placed them manually. But I guess one could do it in rc.xml too...have to think about that one though...

Thanks to the both of you. Openbox can do a lot dmz can do also, so I'll see if it can be done with Openbox alone .

You can change desktops with Ctrl+Alt+Left/Right, if you didn't knew. The AWN config is fairly simple, I guess what you want are the icons: http://drop.io/hcarvalhoalves/asset/neon

Keep in mind this is just a mashup of icons from deviantArt and other places, no icon there is of my authorship.

Is Globalmenu the one in aur ?

Yep. I had a hard time building it (make sure you have exactly Vala 5.1, or the build fails for now)
