can't get working awesome-git config.

I'm trying to find a decent config file to use with awesome-git from the AUR.

I like the looks of gigamo's (http://github.com/gigamo/config/tree/ma … ig/awesome) but using the latest awesome-git, awesome won't start.
It dies with the error "attempt to index field 'beautiful' (a nil value)

I've tried a couple of the other configs from the wiki, but they give the same error or totally don't work.

Re: can't get working awesome-git config.

The best way is to use the config that came with awesome and then add whatever you find interesting in other configs. They change the config all the time so most of the other configs dont work out of the box.

Re: can't get working awesome-git config.

Try my config, it's based on gigamo's but I fixed the errors due to new git commits and also added some more widgets.
