Stjerm loses focus; how can I change this?

At the suggestion of other Archers, I've been using stjerm as my drop-down terminal. It works very well and has few dependencies, unlike yakuake. However, it won't keep focus.

For example, the first time I activate it during a session, focus goes to the sjterm terminal. On subsequent activations, I have to click to give focus back to the sjterm terminal. I'd like it to regain focus whenever I activate (drop it down).

I've played some with the settings of both sjterm and Xfce4, which is the DE I'm using right now, but I can't get this working the way I want.

Thanks for any advice.

Well, fickle fellow that I am, I've switched back to tilda, which doesn't have the focus problem I described above.

All the same, if anybody knows the secret to managing focus with tilda on Xfce4, I'd like to hear.

Thanks.
