Multitap on touchpad no longer works after Xorg 7.4 upgrade

After upgrading to Xorg 7.4 I can no longer use a two finger tap to middle-click, where I could before. Two finger scrolling was on by default somehow, but turning that off didn't help. How can I get middle-click back.

Do you have hotplugging active? How do your configs look like? (xorg.conf, *.fdi-files) Without these informations it's pretty hard to find a solution!!

Hotplugging is off. Both old and new xorg.conf are at http://pastebin.com/m23c8ea46

Not sure which fdi files to look for, but I've never made any changes to them.

Okay, furthermore, single tap doesn't work either, even though I do have 'Option      "MaxTapTime" "180"' as per the documentation.
