nuvexport - Audio hopelessly out of sync

Something happened in the last month or so.   Audio sync is now off when I use nuvexport to transcode something out of MythTV.   It gets progressively worse over the duration of the rip.

I'm using nuvexport --transcode ... because nuvexport complains of needing ffmpeg-svn.   Even when I comment out that check, audio sync is still off when I tried using ffmpeg.   Seems even worse than transcode.

Does anybody have any suggestions for how I can either fix the sync, or a different app to export videos out from MythTV, that will use MythTV's commercial cutlists?

Re: nuvexport - Audio hopelessly out of sync

I've tried ffmpeg, transcode, and mencoder.   I've even tried changing the -M flag in transcode.

All produce the same thing:  Audio that gets progressively more out of sync.
