Problem after upgrade

OK so I just upgraded the entire system with

pacman -Syu

and I saw it upgraded the kernel so I rebooted.

When it rebooted X would not start, it just spit out errors. I ran

Xorg -configure

and made some custom changes and copied xorg.conf.new to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.

Now it works but only with "vesa" in the driver section when I have a VIA S3 UniChrome video card. this is what my /var/Xorg.0.log says (actually it is /var/Xorg.0.log.old now because I am using the vesa driver):

Re: Problem after upgrade

Either recompile the via module, (use ABS) or wait for your mirror to sync with the new via module package for your new kernel version.
