pacdiffviewer won't open vimdiff anymore

I've always used pacdiffviewer to compare config files, but now it doesn't open vimdiff anymore. I can press "S" or "R" to supress or replace, but when I press "2" to open vimdiff, it sort of just refreshes the screen or returns to the .pacnew list. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm not quite sure how to go about solving this.
