Hello, I'm having problems with openoffice when I run it on my Arch. After it loads, when I go to the menus it becomes unusable and I have to kill the process to stop it...:(
Anyone having the same problems?
Thanks alot

I have the same problem running KDE 3.5.10. It seems to work fine when OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome but not when OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=kde. When OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=kde is used some GLib functions fail when menu is accessed and cause a livelock. The failing function messages are below. I'm unfortunately unqualified to understand what is worng.

Welcome to the forums cengic.
I believe that OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=kde is depreciated now, and OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome is necessary for proper functioning.
