For a while now, I have been plagued by a bug in secondlife which causes the game to crash any time I try to save or load a file, or set the location of the game's cache. This problem has been going on for a month or more, and the game developers have no acknowledged it's existence. I spoke to another linux user who plays secondlife, and according to him, the cause of the bug is libpng.
Is anybody else on Arch affected by this bug? And if so, have you been able to fix it or find a workaround to it? Or, is there anybody who can suggest one?

By the way, I've already tried kgtk as a workaround. It just segfaults whenever I use it on anything, so I'm guessing it was improperly built.

I complained about that bug somewhere a long, long time ago, and I saw it reported on JIRA.
I'm surprised they haven't fixed that by now.

I did some more checking, and it's been fixed. But, it won't be seen until the next release candidate of version 1.22. So, until then, I'll have to wait before adding merchandise to my stores on SLX and OnRez.
