Trouble configuring Xorg

I am trying to install Arch on a test machine (which I have done successfully numerous times in the past) but I am having some trouble configuring X with my nvidia graphics card (GeForce 7300GT). I did some research and found in my xorg.conf I had "Load      Type 1" so I removed that thinking that was the issue but there is still an issue. Here is the message I get when I run "startx":

FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.25-ARCH/modules.dep: No such file or directory
(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to load the nvidia kernel module!
(EE) NVIDIA(0): ***Aborting***
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.

Fatal server error:
no screens found
giving up.

xinit: No such file or directory (errno2): unable to connect to X server.
xinit: No such process (errno3): Server error.

Scratch that... I didn't reboot after a kernel upgrade. However... now X starts...but freezes. I will do alittle more research.
