first device is pcsp (alsamixer)

Well there's this weird error I'm getting after every second reboot or so.

Running alsamixer will load pcsp as the soundcard.
pcsp (pc speaker) is selected as the default soundcard and I can't switch it to the snd-enblah I have.

aplay -l lists pcsp at card0 and my regular soundcard at card0.

alsamixer -c 1 will control to the correct card.
But still I haven't found how to select which card controls the output.

Any ideas?

Yes. Disable the module: http://www.archlinux.org/news/414/
(add !snd-pcsp to the MODULES array in /etc/rc.conf)
