I upgraded to latest X.org and I've noticed that my keyboard's response is slow.
Like when holding backspace down the 'erase rate' is lower than what it used to be.
My xorg.conf is empty.
What should I add in order to have the previous speed?

Have you tried disabling hotplugging? http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xor … _it_off.3F

Gnome atleast has an utility to modify keyresponse and *checkes out his xset man page* you can modify this with xset -r something aswell.. if you want it to be default i guess you can put it in some shell file being read at X startup.
