Size of SWAP partition
Hello everyone. I have 2 GB ( 2048 MB ) of RAM memory, but I read that the size of SWAP partition should be not bigger than 1 GB ( 1024 MB ). What will happen when I create a SwaP partiton of size 2 GB ( 2048 MB ). Can someone help with my problem? I'm very thankful of any help. Contact with me and bye.

You swap partition needs to be at least as big as your RAM if you ever want to suspend to disk. I have 2GB RAM, 4GB swap but I do a lot of number crunching. 2GB would be fine.
