When you are not in bbs.archlinux.org, like say you're reading bugs in the bugtracker or surfing the AUR, the logo can be clicked on to access the homepage. Inside the forums, it does not. I get it too.

Ah I see, but hotlinking means something else, at least to my understanding.
It might be a detail that escaped the webmaster's eye...

I'm sure there is a bug report about this somewhere....

Edit:  There is in the internal dev tracker.

Re: Archlinux logo hotlink disabled when in forums

I noticed this last week but didn't think it was that big of a deal. Clicking home does the same thing, but the logo should be clickable for uniformity at least.

Re: Archlinux logo hotlink disabled when in forums

This will be addressed (hopefully) when we upgrade soon to FluxBB.  Last week I updated the other community sites so that the logo leads to the main Arch home rather than the home of the particular community site.

FluxBB? So, Arch is switching from or current BBS software again? Seems like this happens every year now.

FluxBB is a fork of PunBB (our current software) that has more of the original devs and seems to be more maintained. Think of it more as a rename than a switch 8)

Yup, the forum will be changed over when fluxbb 1.3 is released.

The suggestion box only accepts patches.

FluxBB 1.3 looks interesting with the extensions and all.
