[SOLVED]no dirves listed in pcmanfm

hi guys. i recently reinstalled arch, and now when i use pcmanfm i no longer get a list of drives and i cant mount drives this way anymore. anyone know whats wrong?

Do you have hal running? Check your deamons array at the bottom of your rc.conf.

yeah, i have hal in my deamons section. still not working though
EDIT:
reinstalling hal and pcmanfm did the trick
