Re: Pinnacle PCTV Sat - worth buying?

I have a Pinnacle PCTV Sat, it should work with the default kernel, also see the DVB-S wiki page,
which is written by me using it.
Strangely, mine doesn't work currently, not even under Windows with the official drivers,
I think it broke down (the card is at least 4 year, although I cannot remember it clearly).
I also never got the remote working with LIRC.
But I'm not sure we're talking about the same model, mine is PCI, the remote receiver is serial, it is quite old already, and AFAIK it was also only released in Germany.
