Gran Paradiso problem/FF<solved>

Did anyone else lose the radio buttons to close, condense/roll up FF after the last update?
Konqueror and everything else has them, just lost them on FF/GP.
I'm using compiz-fusion, emerald and kdemod3.5 and have made no changes to anything nor added anything from any of the repo's.
Changing the theme makes no difference.
Also, when FF/GP is open, the kicker panel is hidden below the page now.
The only way to close out is from the file tab.

Re: Gran Paradiso problem/FF<solved>

I had the same problem once, when I was using emerald, because the firefox window became larger than my screen.

I fixed it by unmaximizing and then maximizing it using the taskbar entry. However, that was only temporary, because firefox remembers the window size for the next launch. In order to fix it premanently, I had to unmaximize firefox, resize it so that it was smaller than my screen, and then close firefox so it would remember the window position.

Re: Gran Paradiso problem/FF<solved>

That would work if I could do any of it.
My kicker panel/taskbar is covered.
I can't reduce the window at all.
I can't drag the window out of the way nor drag it in from the lower right hand corner.
I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it comes back the same way.
Dunno where the ff folder is or I would see if I could reduce it from there some way.
Unless someone else has an idea I'll use pacman to do a complete removal and then reinstall it.

Alt left click should allow you to move the window.

Re: Gran Paradiso problem/FF<solved>

wmctrl will let you resize a window from the commandline

install it with pacman -S wmctrl

wmctrl -r Paradiso -e 0,50,50,640,480 should do it. replace the "Paradiso" with "Firefox" if you're using the branded version

Re: Gran Paradiso problem/FF<solved>

xaiviax: Wouldn't allow me to move the wndow.
Super Jamie: Would probably work with FF running, but the same problem still exists of getting to anything with FF running.

I went ahead and saved my bookmarks and removed FF, deleted the mozilla folder in home and reinstalled FF.
Back to normal.
Thx for the help guys.
