Hi alll,
I'm using Awesome (or any tiling WM) for the first time, so bear with me
I always liked to use bashrun in floating WM's, but now when I start it, it's *huge* (half of my screen) and it stays open after executing a command.
So, how do I use bashrun in awesome? I'm also willing to switch to gmrun if needed.
Oh and I know i can do mod4+f1 to open awesome's built-in run dialog, but it's more basic then bashrun and gmrun. (eg dumber completion)
Thanks

Add gmrun to floatapps in your rc.lua.

Perfect! thanks
( for the record: start xprop, start bashrun, click on bashrun and you see it props, such as the class)
the entry thus becomes
["bashrun"] = true,
