USB mouse, suspend and irqpoll

Hi,

I am using archlinux on Thinkpad T61. T61 has three USB ports, two on the right and one on the left. Since the beginning, the two ports on the right do not work correctly. If I attach a device (either USB drive or mouse) on the right and boot, they work correctly. If I attach the device after the system has booted, the device gets power, but the system does not detect that the device is present. This is an old problem, and on Ubuntu, I used to work around this by enabling irqpoll in the boot options. If I enable irqpoll in archlinux, the USB ports work correctly, but they keyboard "dies" after resuming from suspend. When irqpoll is enabled, and I resume from suspend, the keyboard stops working after about 1 or 2 minutes, and I need to restart my computer.

Any suggestions on how to get USB ports ans suspend to work correctly.

Thanks,
Aditya
