Hi,
I probably messed up trying to change my openbox menu via obmenu. After I rebooted, I found my desktop, and when I clicked I found an empty openbox menu. I don't know how to fix this, I can't find a solution to open a terminal (I used to do that via the menu).
My login manager is slim, I tried to type "console" as a login but it didn't work.
How can I access a terminal ?

Try ctrl+alt+FX where X=2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11 ... it should allow you to go into tty and change your menu.xml to be fixed. Otherwise you might want to edit your ~/.config/openbox/autostart.sh to include your favourite terminal.

What pathogen said, or you could edit your ~/.xinitrc to include a terminal.
When you have a terminal enter obmenu to configure the openbox menu.

Ok, I will try the ctrl+alt+fx method.
About the other method, how do I get to edit ~/.xinitrc if I can't open a terminal ?
thank you

Kill X with ctrl+alt+backspace, edit the file, then restart x with xstart.
