Special keys on hp nc6000.

Hello,
I'm trying to configure my mute, vol up, vol down keys on my laptop.
I have a problem, because xbindkeys and xev dont see these keys. I don't know why. I was using older kernel and xorg before and everything was fine. When i'm using xev i don't get any keycode:

FocusOut event, serial 31, synthetic NO, window 0x2600001,
    mode NotifyGrab, detail NotifyAncestor

FocusIn event, serial 31, synthetic NO, window 0x2600001,
    mode NotifyUngrab, detail NotifyAncestor

KeymapNotify event, serial 31, synthetic NO, window 0x0,
    keys:  2   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   
           0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0   0

How to enable my keys?

i think you have to set your xkbModel in xorg.conf appropriate

lists a few hp models:

/usr/share/X11/xkb/rules/xorg

You can also use

setxkbmap

to set a new model

I have tried all hp and compaq kbd maps and still i dont see these keycodes... Anyone knows what is correct kbd map to hp compaq nc6000? Or maybe its not kbd map problem?

Ok i used keytouch and... surprise. I see the keycodes. But when i'm starting keytouch with my new keyboard file i get:

Warning: Not all keys can be grabbed by this program. This
         can be caused by another program which is already
         grabbing these keys.

And its not working...
